It thinks it is another place
This was created by building layers of medium. First, washed of ink and acrylic glazes are applied then ink and acrylic paint. Pattern is added to sections of the work and finally there are layers of collage in the form of hand dyed paper. This work is textured and has a transparent feel, the collage layers adding a shadowy impression across the surface.
This is a bright, vivid artwork in greens, pinks, oranges and golden tones and contrasting areas of violet and deep mauve. There are highlights of fluorescent pink softer areas of lemon yellow. The collage layers are in lilacs and blush.
This work is framed in Tasmanian oak and ready to hang. 56cm x 56xcm
This is also available as a limited edition print.
